Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County

Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County

Faith-Based Organization

Mission Statement

The mission of the Community Food Warehouse is to provide supplemental food to those who are hungry and to raise awareness of hunger throughout Mercer County.

About

The CFWMC is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is a member of Feeding America, the nation's network of food banks.

The Warehouse does not supply food directly to clients, but solicits local grocers, retailers, and food manufacturers for affordable/low-cost food products and warehouses them for distribution to our 33 member agencies.

Through our agencies, we distribute food to 4,200 households across Mercer County. Our agencies include food pantries, soup kitchens, abuse and homeless shelters, local churches, after-school programs, low-income day care centers, youth centers, and mental health treatment centers.
