Mission Statement
The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori (GSCM) bases its academic program on the principles, methods, and curriculum developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Classroom teachers have certification through a nationally accredited Montessori program as well as the Ohio Department of Education. The school fully integrates the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd into the classrooms. The Catechesis is an approach to the religious formation of children, 3-12 years of age. It uses Scripture, liturgy, and sacramental signs to present to children the most essential realities of the Catholic faith. Since its introduction to the United States, a number of diocese and bishops have embraced the program. Parents are intimately involved with their child's education at GSCM.
