Mission Statement
Neighbors Helping Neighbors on the Main Line was created in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. We provide critical food and supplies to families in need in Lower Merion Township and the immediate vicinity. NHN strives to serve as a continual source of support to some of the most vulnerable residents in our township. We believe the combined efforts of neighbors will lead to the success and well being of our entire community.
As the work continues, it has become clear and obvious these efforts must be ongoing. While our services have spanned the spectrums of race, age and current economics, we continue to have particular concern for the Black and Latino/a members of our community. It is in this light that we decided to make NHN a strong and lasting entity. Our goal is not only to provide food and necessities but, also educational support, mentoring, life skills and job training initiatives. We are focused on furnishing critical information from the township and school district; and assisting neighbors in receiving all that is available to their families.
While we formed from the crucial onset of virus damage control, NHN is committed to providing solutions for the continual growth and wellness of Lower Merion Township and its residents. We serve as a tangible link to this sometimes hard to reach group of wonderful families who deserve equity. We at Neighbors Helping Neighbors on the Main Line are dedicated to healing and uplifting our beloved community.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors on the Main Line is a nonprofit organization that serves as a continual source of support to some of the most vulnerable residents in Lower Merion Township and the immediate vicinity. NHN is made up of local volunteers, who are dedicated to creating racial equity and unity within our community.
