Loudoun Interfaith Relief

About

The mission of Loudoun Interfaith Relief is simple: To feed the hungry in Loudoun County Virginia.

During FY2015, Loudoun Interfaith Relief (LIR) served 17,000 Loudoun food-insecure residents through approximately 95,000 visits; providing 1.4 Million pounds of food to our neighbors in need. This represents a 13% increase over FY14. LIR strives to maximize the impact of our operation through the efficient use of donations; in fact, $.93 of every contribution received by LIR goes to providing food to Loudoun County's hungry.

At this time of year, we are gearing up for our Summer Meals feeding program, which feeds food insecure children all summer long. Last year, this program served almost 4000 children.
