Mission Statement

HELPS International's mission is to provide enduring programs of practical, social and spiritual value to the people in the developing world through a system of partnership and mutual responsibility. The HELPS community of volunteers and supporters is addressing the root causes of poverty with a unique, integrated model focused on four core areas: health care, education, agriculture and community development. Since 1984, HELPS volunteers and partners have improved the lives of more than one million people. And we're just getting started.
