Founded in 1902 by Rev. Edgar Helms, Goodwill Industries' primary mission is to place people in productive and competitive jobs. Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Michigan's mission is to provide exceptional opportunities for people facing barriers. Our vision is to allow people to prosper through the efforts of Goodwill and the Community. A focal point of our mission is to help people reduce or eliminate their barriers to employment.
