Under the Bank’s volunteer policy, employees are encouraged to volunteer for organizations that work in areas aligned with the Bank’s mission. These areas of service are grouped under the three volunteer priorities below. Many organizations work in more than one area.
◾Economic growth and opportunity: Help underserved people access education and services that can lead to better-paying careers. Includes education at every stage of life, childcare, job training and workforce development.
◾Financial capability: Help people access financial education and services to stay out of poverty. Includes programs to promote asset building, improved credit, personal financial skills and small businesses.
◾Neighborhood stabilization: Help promote strong, safe and healthy communities in areas affected by poverty, neglect, gentrification or disasters. Includes affordable housing, public health, food security and other services.
