Akron Promise

Mission Statement

Akron Promise stitches together existing education and family support programs and will work to identify any gaps and engage with organizations to fill the gaps. Using that support network, and federal, state, and private funding, the Akron Promise will, for students living in Akron, will provide scholarship money toward required post-secondary education for a fulfilling life and career. 100% of Donations from the public currently fund the Kenmore-Garfield Stark State Scholarship awarded to 10 students annually.
