Equine Spirit Sanctuary (ESS) is a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of people and horses through programs of rehabilitation and education. Right now the Sanctuary needs volunteers!

Where and When: The Equine Spirit Sanctuary is located at 13 Los Caballos Rd, Ranchos De Taos, NM 87557. Volunteers are needed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10-2 to assist with programs and day to day operations.

What volunteers do: Volunteers will help with horse care, facility cleaning, keeping it safe and healthy for our equines, helping with activities and programs and fund raising. There are many different ways and opportunities to share your time, knowledge and energy with ESS. Let the Sanctuary know what your special skills and interests are on the ESS volunteer team.

Requirements Volunteers are required to do training sessions before assisting. Duties will be assigned according the volunteer’s capabilities and interests and in accordance with Equine Spirit Sanctuary's goals. Volunteers are encouraged to work with team leaders and directors to advance their skills.
