Meet at Renewed Hope 8714 Antioch Rd, OP, KS at 10:30 to help set up bus, then follow bus to SDA Multicultural Church.. Guests served at SDA Multicultural Church in KC, MO from 12:30 to 1:30. Food pantry guests will walk onto the Hope Bus to select items in a client choice food pantry model. This is an outdoor event. Volunteers will set up the bus, record visits, assist guests bagging food, weighing food, help guests carry food to cars. Volunteers must agree to all requirements and waiver and release. By signing up and volunteering, you indicate that you agree to waiver and release and will follow all requirements.
Need to know
As a volunteer, you must stay home if *You are sick from any cause *You are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as fever or cough You agree to wash hands for at least 20 seconds and/or use hand sanitizer often while volunteering; after washing hands, wear gloves; avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth; fulfill your volunteer role while following social distancing guidelines. You also agree to serve any client; come with clean hair, hands, and clothes; wear closed toe shoes; help keep all parts of the pantry clean; report possible hazards or unsafe activities immediately; use proper lifting technique, using your legs to lift, keeping your back straight; only take on tasks you are physically able to handle.; ask for help when needed. Note: All personal belongings should be locked in your car trunk or other location you feel is safe. ReNewed Hope Food Pantry assumes no responsibility for damage or loss of personal property.
