World Mission & Social Justice

The mission of the World Mission & Social Justice Council of Fourth Presbyterian Church aspires to realize God’s “heaven on earth” in the Chicago area and beyond. In our ideal community, all people are valued as creations of God who have rights to peace, life, liberty, and social justice. God has blessed Fourth Presbyterian Church with resources that include the sharing of creativity, energy, money, skills, talents, and time. In response to the love and calling of Jesus Christ to serve our community in God’s image, this council engages members of the church and other volunteers to minister and partner with local, national, and global communities through partnership, direct engagement, advocacy and volunteerism.

Effective October 15, 2021, all Fourth Church volunteers serving in person must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please send a copy of your vaccination certification card to vaxproof@fourthchurch.org. Masks must also be worn on the Fourth Church campus at all times.
