Music Ministries

Music can be a powerful vessel for spiritual connection and a vehicle for growth--in musicianship, in faith, and in community. A wide variety of music in worship allows both participants and listeners to experience their faith in new and meaningful ways.

Herndon UMC offers many avenues to share God's love and to praise God through music. The musical groups also become circles of support, prayer, and faith for one another. Whether you can commit for the year, for a season, or just for a short period, opportunities abound.

Throughout the year there may also be other opportunities to serve listed here--GIFT Dinners, Handel's Messiah Sing-along, the Christmas Orchestra, and the Spring Mission Concert--to name a few.
