Food Pantry

The mission of the Auburn UMC Food Pantry is to provide emergency assistance to hungry families who reside in Lee County. Our hope is that by providing aid to these families they will be able to allocate their spending dollars toward other needs. The Auburn UMC Food Pantry is an all- volunteer organization that serves approximately 50 families each week, providing them with dry goods, dairy products, meats and toiletries. The ministry is located in the Auburn UMC Annex building at 302 E Magnolia Avenue.

An important outgrowth of the Auburn UMC Food Pantry is the Homebound ministry in which volunteers take boxes of food to Homebound senior citizens one week each month. Other outgrowth ministries of the Auburn UMC Food Pantry include the Clothes Closet and the Prayer Ministry.
