JOG Resume Writing

Many Y.O.U. students come to us without a resume, a critical piece that students must develop for their interviews as they pursue jobs. Using a Microsoft Word resume template, we help them generate their first resumes. We take that information from their workbooks and MS Word!

Resume Writing Volunteers:

• Assist students in critical thinking of their work experience, transferrable skills, and how to make the resumes as marketable as possible. • Offer recommendations for resume content. • Help them to understand the importance of editing and refining the language in their resume.

At the end, an attractive, professional resume emerges and highlights the student's qualifications and accomplishments in a way that many Y.O.U. teens haven't seen before.
