Youth Ministry

The mission of Fourth Church Youth is spiritual care and faith exploration for youth in grades 6 through 12. Our focus is on relationship building and the formation of a welcoming and inclusive Christian community in which youth are accepted, known, and loved for who they are. Through education and worship, we immerse youth in historic and emerging expressions of faith and equip them to prophetically engage our culture while living in it. Through service to others, we cultivate the spiritual practices of charity and justice. Through fellowship and community building, we open hearts and minds to the emergence of God’s kingdom in the world. Our hope is that youth will discover a deeper awareness of God’s presence in their lives, a sense of call to participate in God’s transformation of the world, and a foundation for continuing spiritual growth as young adults and beyond.
